((Disney is due to build an Avatar-themed attraction in Animal Kingdom. Say what you want about Avatar. I fully agree that the story had been done thousands of times before, but honestly, this movie did it better than I had ever seen it. I fully regret not seeing it in theaters. The characters were decent, even though we only saw some of them once or twice, which was really enough for me because it felt as though they didn’t want the movie to feel too cluttered with too many characters and too many back stories. We got the basic gist of the important non-mains, an understanding of their personalities, they played their part, and we moved on. The scenery and effects were breathtaking, and you have to admit it. So even if you hate the movie, you’ve GOT to be excited about this. I know I’m excited to walk through Pandora.

A Disney animator put together a sequence to see how Wicked would look as an animated move. The result is pretty amazing.
